Details

1. Previously, when the first object that has been fetched through a squid<->client connection produces a hit, and that connection is in a keep-alive state (the default setting of client_persistent_connections configuration option), any subsequent objects are also marked as hits. The same was true when the first object is a cache miss - all subsequent objects are potentially penalized by QoS policies. This version of the ZPH patch fixes it.

2. Finally, run-time configuration options have been added to manage (at least the TOS version) ZPH patch. Currently these are:

zph_tos	Allows you to select a TOS/Diffserv value to mark local and peer hits. Read tcp_outgoing_tos for details/requirements about TOS. Default: 0 (disabled).
zph_tos_peer	ON|OFF - Set this to off if you want only local hits to be marked (disables hits from sibling caches being TOS marked). Default: ON (siblings' hits treated as local hits).
